Eshu Woman

Although the eshu come in all colors, the majority tend to have dark skin and African or Arabic features. Their dark eyes can seem shadowed and mysterious, or bright and piercing. They wear their dark hair in a variety of ways;some even shave their heads as did their ancestors.

In their faerie guises, the eshu stand taller than most other changelings. They often resemble Arab sheiks or nomads, wrapped in brightly colored silk and satin. Some also dress in the garb of African tribesmen, mostly naked, wearing split skirts made of animal skins . . . ."

This next series of pictures I will probably posting up one after another. Just finished this one. They are all the different types of changelings from WoD. I was hired by a friend of mine to draw a portrait of each type for her web page Thus I have started with the Eshu. The above passages is quoted from a Changeling book on how their appearance should be. I hope it matches . . . . Yeah, I know I suck at shading and her skirt isn't shaded enough. As well as the arm band. Her hair isn't perfect either, but all in all I like the way the picture turned out.
